We took my husband to Goodnight's on 12/15 for his birthday. It was delicious plus there was a live band to boot! I had the chicken and dumplings, my husband and one son had the Salisbury steak and my other son had the Frito pie. For dessert, we had tiramisu. All of it was wonderful. We were the 3rd couple to come in that night but, by the time we were done, the restaurant was filled. The only thing I will add about the decor is that either rugs need to be placed about on the wood floor or something needs to be hung on the wall to damper the sound a bit. We will certainly be back!

If I had a way to e-mail this to my neighborhood( about35 address)I am sure that almost all of them would visit this place just as I am maybe even as soon as tomorrow night.
Also what ever happened to the breakdown list of restaurants,services and so forth?

IF YOU OWN LAND, READ THIS:
It is important for all landowners to read the new sign ordinance and post comments to the City or be at the meeting on December 14th.
The new sign ordinance, under Sec 26.01.005 SIGN, removes the phrase "that is visible from a public right-o-way" that was in the old ordinance. By removing this phrase, any sign on your property, if it is located in Dripping Springs or the ETJ, can now be regulated by the City. There are a few exemptions, but most do not apply to landowners.
For example, if you have 10 acres of land and have a sign in the middle of your 10 acres, that sign would be required to be in compliance with the new sign ordinance.
If I have a sign that cannot be seen from a public right-of-way, why does it have to be regulated by the City?? Think of all the signs you have on your personal property that are not visible from a public right-of-way!! That is too much regulation of private property rights for me.

Dear Tiger fans,

A few things to please remember:
There is no public parking on Peabody Place drive (the street between Tractor Supply and the school) and it is not a through street. Our street is occupied by families young and old and their pets. If you do find yourself in our neighborhood please be considerate.
