DRIPPING WEEKEND (AUGUST 20-21, 2011)

The Dripping Springs Farmers Market is hanging in there! Support our hardworking local farmers and producers on Saturday mornings from 9am - Noon at The Triangle (RR 12 and 290). Also, an area farm, who participates in several area markets, would love to have a booth at the Dripping Springs Farmers Market. Are you or anyone you know interested in staffing the booth on Saturday mornings? Email jtouchstone@cityofdrippingsprings.com and she will will forward the contact info. 

On Saturday, August 20, it's the Boot Scoot Ball at the Salt Lick Pavilion from 6pm - 10pm. All you can eat BBQ, cash bar, dancing, dance lessons, and Billy Garza and 40 Guns dance band. Proceeds benefit Harrison Ranch Park. Buy your tickets in advance for $30 or $35 at the door. On Sunday, August 21, it's the "Last Chance to Dance" before school starts. This benefit for Torri Fain, who was injured in a go-cart accident last May, is from 5pm - 10pm at  Nutty Brown Cafe. Dancing music by Michael Myers, Jon Wolfe, Jerry Martin Band and Andres Garrett. Live and silent auction includes Willie Nelson autographed guitar and 8 tickets to his next Back Yard event, George Strait memorabilia, VIP table to Josh Abbott Festival at Nutty Brown, Kevin Fowler guitar, Wild Game Hunt and much more. Tickets are $10 at the gate. All proceeds from event will go to Torri Fain medical expenses.
