UPCOMING CITY OF DRIPPING SPRINGS PUBLIC HEARINGS

The following is a run down of upcoming City of Dripping Springs public hearings for August Planning & Zoning meetings and September Dripping Springs City Council meetings. The City of Dripping Springs will consider a zoning amendment request that would change the zoning for the property located at 2200 Highway 290 West (A Line Auto Parts) to be amended from Agricultural (AG) to Commercial Services (CS).  Public hearings will at 7:00 p.m. at the Planning & Zoning Commission meeting on August 23, 2011 and again at the City Council meeting on September 13, 2011

Public hearings will be held at the City of Dripping Springs Planning & Zoning Commission meeting at 7:00 p.m. on August 23, 2011 and at the City Council meeting at 7:00 p.m. on September 13, 2011 to consider the site development plan for Belterra Propane, located at or near the northern intersection of Belterra Drive and Sawyer Ranch Road on the eastern side of Sawyer Ranch Road. The site will be located on WCID # 1 or # 2 property presently undeveloped or platted.   

Public hearings will be held at the City of Dripping Springs Planning & Zoning Commission meeting at 7:00 p.m. on August 23, 2011 and at the City Council meeting at 7:00 p.m. on September 13, 2011 giving all interested persons the right to appear and be heard on the Application for a Conditional Use Permit to operate a Tattoo Studio at 709 B Hwy 290 West.
 
Public hearings will be held at the City of Dripping Springs Planning & Zoning Commission meeting at 7:00 p.m. on August 23, 2011 and at the City Council meeting at 7:00 p.m. on September 13, 2011 at giving all interested persons the right to appear and be heard on the Application for a Conditional Use Permit to allow chickens for domestic use inside the City Limits at 123 Timberline Road (aka, North Forty 2, Lot 7, Block C).

Public hearings will be held at the City of Dripping Springs Planning & Zoning Commission meeting at 7:00 p.m. on August 23rd, 2011 and at the City Council meeting at 7:00 p.m. on September 13th, 2011 to consider the proposed Planned Development District for the Dripping Springs United Methodist Church (DSUMC), located at 28900 RR12. The action to be taken will be to consider the Planned Development Agreement and Ordinance for PDD # 3 (DSUMC). The proposed master planned church campus contains approximately 15.8 acres of land upon which uses consistent with the base zoning district of Government, Utility, and Institution (GUI) will be allowed. The following variances and special exception to the Dripping Springs Code of Ordinances are requested by the applicant to be included in the PDD: Zoning Code Sections 3.14.3: Height (GUI district) and 5.29.2: Special Height Regulations; Subdivision Section 19.2.1: Cuts & Fills.
