CAMP LASSO OFFERS SUMMER SURVIVAL FOR KIDS (AND PARENTS)
If you are still scrambling to find activities to keep your kids busy, happy and safe this summer, the City of Dripping Springs has an affordable option for area kids. Camp Lasso, a day camp sponsored by the City of Dripping Springs, provides a variety of memorable experiences for children aged 6 to 13-years-old.
Camp Lasso offers eleven weekly sessions, which run through August 19th, at Harrison Ranch Park. The camp headquarters is located in the air-conditioned farmhouse on the property. Activities for the day camp center on learning about the world of nature and an appreciation of the environment.
The first four sessions have had 25 to 27 kids enrolled each week. Book now if you want your child to participate, as only a few places are still available in weeks 6 through 11. Full day camps begin at 7:30am and run until 5:30pm. The cost for the full day camp is $130 per week. Participants can also choose to participate in half-day camps from 7:30am to 12:30pm or 12:30pm to 5:30pm for $85 per week.
