The Hillside Concert Series launches its inaugural concert in Dripping Springs on Saturday, June 4, on the grassy knoll at the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit. A small group of musically-minded women created the series as a place for families to gather and enjoy the Hill Country views at sunset as musicians perform for free. Kids are welcome to run and dance as the music plays and parents kick back. Bring a picnic, wine, chairs, or roll out a blanket. First in the summer concert line up is local musician Evan Doss. Concert starts at 6:30pm. Coming up: Celeste Gambel on Saturday, June 11; Libby Lock on Saturday, June 18; and, Andrew Espinola on Saturday, June 25.
The next Drippin' Dancin' is Sunday, June 5, from 6pm - 9pm at The Goodnight Diner. The diner has rolled out a new menu for the season including quail, mahi mahi, and a fried farm fresh egg on a biscuit as well as new summer dessert items.
