THIS WEEK IN DRIPPING SPRINGS

On Thursday at 10:30am at the Dripping Springs Community Library (501 Sportsplex), the MOMS Club of Dripping Springs hosts a free event exploring new research on early literacy.  Led by children’s librarian Marie Kimbrough, the presentation will cover choosing books and other materials to share with your child in the first five years of life, important sound and word games, and practical ways to incorporate learning into your child’s daily routine at home. Participants will take away handouts, great ideas, and a free book to read with their child. Everyone interested in young children, – parents, grandparents, and caregivers – are all invited. To ensure adequate materials and refreshments, online RSVP’s to MOMS Club are encouraged.  RSVP to drippingspringsmomsclub.webs.com.
