Easter Egg Hunt
Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit (301 Hays Country Acres Road)

A community Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit, MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) and New Life Lutheran Church will be held on the Episcopal church grounds and parish hall. There will be an Easter story and egg hunt for children 0-12 (egg hunt will be divided age groups). Hamburgers and hot dogs for all will be served immediately following the egg hunt. New this year is a Bunny Building Workshop for $12 (limited availability, take home kits available). In case of inclement weather, the egg hunt will be held indoors. Two Australian poets help celebrate National Poetry Month — Bob Mud McMahon returns to share the stage with Thom the Future Poet. Twin Lions Spring Classic Hunter Jumper Horse Show
Harrison Ranch Park (29401 RR 12)

Horse enthusiasts are invited to watch this horse show featuring horses and riders showing in hunter/jumper style. The competition includes classes for show hunters, judged on the horse's movement and form, show jumpers, judged on the horse’s ability to jump high and fast, and equitation riders, judged on horsemanship.   All three types of classes will be offered at the show, for all levels and ages of riders, in addition to special classes for ponies. In addition to a variety of jumping and rail classes, the show features a $300 Hunter Classic, a Sportsmanship Award and Trainer of the Day Award. The colorful courses of jumps and the carefully turned out horses and riders should make for a pleasant day of spectating.  Rain date is June 11.  For additional information or a prize list, please contact twinlionshorseshows@gmail.com.

Once on This Island
Dripping Springs Middle School Cafeteria

DS Middle School brings the Caribbean to Dripping Springs when its choir and theater program present the musical Once on This Island. The show presents the legend of a romance between a peasant girl and a wealthy city boy whom she saves from death, told with a calypso, tropical island twist. Tickets can be purchased at the door and are $5 for students and $10 for adults.  Doors open at 6:30pm.

Broadway Bank - Dripping Springs (320 E. Hwy 290)

Fido fun for all. Enter your dog in the Cutest Puppy, Senior Citizen, or People’s Choice contests (must enter by May 1). Stop by for a photo op or drop off a picture at Broadway Bank in Dripping Springs, Wimberley or Bee Cave. Winners will receive a $50 Savings Bond and doggy bag. On the day of the event, on site adoptions by Austin Pets Alive and PAWS. Vaccinations also available on site. Spay and neuter procedures available through PALS.  Hot dogs and refreshments.

The Dripping Springs Youth Activity Fund's annual golf tournament raises funds that go directly toward helping children in our community pay to participate in extracurricular activities.
