DUCK! DUCK! GOOSE! (AN UPDATE)

Last Friday we posted about two geese we've noticed hanging out by the side of Creek Road, just as you cross the bridge near Onion Creek Farm. They're a bit camouflaged, are very focused on whatever they're eating, and we've been worried about their safety. As we noted in that post, we should always drive with care on all of our Dripping roads, but we asked for a special watch out for the goose couple when traveling down Creek Road. Today, we stopped into Print Plus and proprietor Pam asked us if we had seen the Goose Crossing signs yet on either side of the bridge on Creek Road. We had not, so off we went. A mystery signmaker, also apparently concerned about the geese, has now posted advisory signs. We snapped photos of both signs with our camera phone. In the second shot, you can see in the distance one of the geese crossing the road. The other was just behind in the grass. To see a full shot of the now celebrity geese, click here.

Road subject to flooding and geese crossing. Please take care when driving down Creek Road and all of our Dripping roads!
