If you were assisted by an especially helpful Hays County employee in 2010, now is your chance to say thank you. Through 5pm on March 18 you can nominate that person for a Hays County “Above & Beyond” award.

This is the fourth year the award program has been offered. A review panel of citizens will recommend award recipients, who will be honored at a luncheon during County Government Month in April. This special recognition is awarded to one percent or less of the employee population.

Nomination forms are available at http://www.co.hays.tx.us/appreciation and County offices. The nomination form, which can be downloaded to your computer, is due in the Hays County Human Resources Office by 5pm Friday, March 18, via fax at (512) 393-2227, email at hr@co.hays.tx.us or hand delivery to the Human Resources office, Suite 201 of the County Courthouse in San Marcos. Nomination forms postmarked by March 18 should be mailed to the Hays County Human Resources Department, 111 E. San Antonio St., Suite 201, San Marcos, TX 78666.
