The Hays County Commissioners Court will be live-streamed from the Hays County Courthouse beginning Tuesday, February 15, and will be shown live each Tuesday the Commissioners Court is in session.

With the debut of a new County website design in December 2010 and the addition of new software and equipment that makes live streaming possible, the public will now have the choice of viewing Commissioners Court proceedings from any place they can access the Internet, or in person by visiting the Commissioners Courtroom on the third floor of the Courthouse. The videos will continue to be archived on the website for future viewing.

Court sessions typically begin at 9am on Tuesdays and last until all County administrative business on the agenda has been resolved. Other public meetings held in the Commissioners Courtroom can now also be streamed live via the new system.

While the Hays County Commissioners Court is in session, the link at http://www.co.hays.tx.us/commcourtlive will be active. There is also a link from the Commissioners Court section of the County’s website, www.co.hays.tx.us.
