Our friend Marianne of Onion Creek Farm posted that today.  Leave it to a farmer, who must deal with the cold like few of us sitting behind desks could ever imagine, to see the bright side of the bitter cold.

And speaking of our indefatigable local farmers and ranchers, the Dripping Springs Farmers Market Board Association is hosting a Vendor Open House next Thursday, February 10, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at City Hall Offices, located at 511 Mercer Street.  While the agenda is flexible, the Board will share ideas for growing the market and continuing to generate community interest and involvement.  Returning vendors and new vendors are all welcome to share your thoughts with like minded growers and producers who want to see a thriving market in Dripping Springs.
