DRIPPING WEEKEND
Pink West Salon is hosting a vintage clothes shopping party today and Saturday from 10am -6pm. The clothes are via Little Liberty in Marfa, owned by Brooke Carter, the daughter of Pink West's Deborah Carter. Customers are invited to sip Champagne and nosh on nibbles while browsing. On Saturday, Jester King Brewery (13005 Fitzhugh Road) celebrates its grand opening from 1-9pm. A festival atmosphere is on tap with classic cars, live bands, hot food, fire-dancers, and, of course, Jester King beer. The "green" venue is a former horse farm constructed mostly of recycled building materials, and rainwater harvesting will begin soon. The scenic grounds also feature a rustic 200ft pole barn complete with chandeliers and hay bale couches.
