DRIPPING THURSDAY
We come from a long line of hat wearers and proudly carry on the tradition. There was a time when we would have been the rule, not the exception, which the Dripping Springs Community Library celebrates tonight from 6-7pm with "When We Wore Hats," a special evening with Mrs. Margaret Huber and her extensive hat collection. Step back to a time when adults always wore hats and well-dressed ladies wore gloves. Check with Suzanne at (512) 858-7825 or suzanne@dscl.org to see if seats are still available.
Also tonight, Plateau Land & Wildlife Management presents their free "Make the Switch" seminar on wildlife management tax valuation ("wildlife exemption") from 6-8pm at City Hall (511 Mercer). Also a good opportunity to discuss other wildlife issues with the Plateau guys and fellow landowners.
Note: Plateau recently wrote an excellent article on the economic value of open space and why being in ag or wildlife is not a tax "exemption." Read the article on the Plateau blog.
