We come from a long line of hat wearers and proudly carry on the tradition. There was a time when we would have been the rule, not the exception, which the Dripping Springs Community Library celebrates on Thursday from 6-7pm with "When We Wore Hats," a special evening with Mrs. Margaret Huber and her extensive hat collection. On Saturday, Jester King Brewery (13005 Fitzhugh Road) celebrates its grand opening from 1-9pm. A festival atmosphere is on tap with classic cars, live bands, hot food, fire-dancers, and, of course, Jester King beer. The “green” venue is a former horse farm constructed mostly of recycled building materials, and rainwater harvesting will begin soon. The scenic grounds also feature a rustic 200ft pole barn complete with chandeliers and hay bale couches.
