THESE ARE A FEW OF OUR FAVORITE THINGS: THE BABBLE'S 10 FAVORITE THINGS IN DRIPPING SPRINGS IN 2010

#3 Rainwater Revival
It was exciting to see so many people from all walks of life come together to create an incredibly successful inaugural Rainwater Revival in October. While on the surface they might appear quite different, two of our favorite people, former County Commissioner Karen Ford, who spearheaded the event, and Hays Trinity Groundwater Conservation District Boardmember Jimmy Skipton, an active Rainwater Revival volunteer, showed how much the future of Dripping Springs and its landscape means to the people of Dripping Springs, no matter their perceived political bent. The event as a whole moved us to step up our own rainwater collection efforts and the rain barrel art trail certainly inspired us to a greater catchment aesthetic.
