DRIPPING SPRINGS GROCERY ROBBER GETS 18 YEARS

Last year about this time , 26 year old Richard Falcon, Jr. attempted the armed robbery of Dripping Springs Grocery before being foiled by a female customer who wrestled his shotgun from him and then chased him to get a description of the getaway car. Yesterday, Falcon was found guilty by a Hays County jury and sentenced to 18 years in prison and must serve at least 9 years of his sentence before he is eligible for parole.
