Photographer Howard Williams captures an Eastern Phoebe looking for insects. In parts of Texas, this flycatcher is a breeding and wintering bird. Here's a trivia tidbit for your holiday cocktail parties chatter: What was the first banded bird? In 1804 James Audubon tied silvered thread to the leg to of an Easter Phoebe to track its return.
