DRIPPING SPRINGS FARMERS MARKET ON SATURDAY
Oh boy, are we excited about Saturday's Dripping Springs Farmers Market.
In addition to an excellent roster of local producers, Jason Jamar will be roasting coffee beans on site and then ... wait for it ... closer to lunch time he will be preparing homemade, wood fired pizzas on site! Watch him toss the dough and take one home. And if our hunger is poking at us, poking at us before lunch time, Friday's BBQ & More will be selling homemade breakfast tacos at the market. There will also be live music by Jerry King.
As market manager Jo Ann Touchstone notes, if you're headed to the market for farm fresh eggs, be sure to get there early because as the days grow shorter these happy, local chickens, not subjected to artificial light, aren't laying as many eggs. Twenty dozen eggs sold out last Saturday before 9:30AM!
