DRIPPING MONDAY: THE WEEK AHEAD

The third candidate forum hosted by the Dripping Springs 912 Group is Thursday at 7:30PM at the American Legion/VFW Hall 27500 RR 12. This forum is for the state representative race, but as incumbent Patrick Rose is not participating only candidate Jason Isaac will be appearing.

This Saturday's Dripping Springs Farmers Market promises to be the largest yet. If all the vendors who have committed so far can make it, there should be 16 local producers holding court at The Triangle (RR 12 and 290) from 9:00AM - Noon. Vendor Matt Hudson with My Chihuahua Bites Salsa, who has taken first prize in the Austin Chronicle hot sauce competition, is scheduled to be on KVET tomorrow morning at 8:10AM with a market shout out. If you haven't had his salsa yet, it is outstanding. Many of our vendors are superstars in the making! Be among those of us who will be able to say "I knew them when!".

The Driftwood Community Club invites all to celebrate Driftwood's heritage at a Barbecue Supper at the Driftwood Community Center on Saturday from 6:00PM - 9:00PM. There is no meal charge, but donations are welcome and there will be a raffle drawing.
