For those who saw the Drip Pic of the week posted earlier, it will reappear when we sort out the photographer and whether that was a monarch butterfly, a painted lady butterfly, a queen butterfly, a viceroy butterfly, or a wolf in butterfly clothing. Lepidopterologists we are clearly not! In the meantime, we get to move up in the Drip Pic queue one of the cutest photos we've received and we're delighted to present its debut earlier than planned. Twelve year old Katy Armitage of Dripping Springs took this photograph of her family donkey who likes to stand by a metal cutout a family friend created. Katy reports that despite the fact an enticing fresh hay bale sits less than five feet away, real donkey prefers the company of metal donkey.
