DRIPPING ART: RAIN BARREL ART TRAIL PREVIEW
Leading up to the Rainwater Revival on October 9 here in Dripping Springs, rain barrels painted by 6 local artists will be displayed in locations around the area before being auctioned off at the event. Dripping artist Julie Speir (of blue glass goat fame from the traveling goat art herd) has provided a sneak peek at her beautiful, nature-inspired rain barrel art (we're in love with that Kingfisher). When all rain barrel art is completed, their locations for viewing before the event will be posted on rainwaterrevival.com. Also, the rainwater folk let us know they're looking for a few more vendors for the event. Booth space starts at $50 for a 10x10. They are looking for vendors of natural products or cleverly recycled products, eco-minded businesses, and rainwater/water saving related businesses. More information here.
