NEW DSISD STUDENT REGISTRATION OPPORTUNITY ON TUESDAY

While it's Dripping Springs that we love, the feelings evoked by the promise of fall and memories of a new school season is one that crosses geographic lines. Though long graduated, even with the oppressive heat, the arrival of August always turns our thoughts to the coming of football, wool scarves, fresh notebooks filled with clean pages of potential, and newly sharpened pencils. With the first day of school for Dripping Springs ISD just a couple of weeks ago, DSISD let us know that this Tuesday, August 10, new student registration will be held at Dripping Springs Middle School and all three elementary schools in DSISD. The times are staggered so that a parent with children at multiple campuses can get to both locations. Middle School registration will take place from 10:00AM - 6:00PM and registration at Dripping Springs Elementary, Rooster Springs Elementary and Walnut Springs Elementary will run from 8:00AM to 1:00PM. Parents should bring necessary documents as listed on the DSISD website (dsisd.txed.net ) under "Students/Parents," then "Registration Information."

Rooster Springs Elementary — 1001 Belterra Dr.
Walnut Springs Elementary — 300 Sportsplex Dr.
Dripping Springs Middle School — 111 Tiger Lane

New students at the high school level should call the campus to make an appointment to register at (512) 858-3100.
