DRIPPING SPRINGS 4-H KICKS OFF THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR NEXT WEEK

The reporter for the Dripping Springs 4-H  let us know that the 4-H officers want to get the word out that the there will be a meeting before school starts, and they hope others will join in the 4-H fun this year. The first meeting for the year will be Monday, August 9 at 7:00PM  at the AG Booster Building, located behind Dripping Springs Middle School (the old high school). The club meets the second Monday of every month. To join, register online at  texas.4honline.com or forms are available at meetings, members must re-register every year.  Also, as an upcoming deadline reminder, validation tag orders for show lamb/goat are due to the Agrilife Extension office by August 25. Tag order forms are available in the 4-H August newsletter (PDF). Eligibility to show in 4-H is open to kids 8 and in the 3rd grade up to age 19, depending on age as of August 31.

Adults can support your local children by joining the AG Booster Club. Those meetings are held the first Monday of every month at 7:00PM pm at the AG Booster Building. For more information, contact dsagboosters@gmail.com.
