EXEMPLARY AND RECOGNIZED -- WHAT ARE WORDS THAT DESCRIBE DS SCHOOLS

Dripping Springs Independent School District received high marks on the Texas Education Agency (TEA) Academic Accountability Ratings for the 2009-2010 school year, released today. Dripping Springs High School, Rooster Springs Elementary, and Walnut Springs Elementary are rated “Exemplary," and Dripping Springs Middle School and Dripping Springs Elementary are rated “Recognized.” DSISD was rated “Recognized” for the district overall, but the district is appealing the rating and anticipates that it will be changed to “Exemplary.” Read DSISD's complete news release on the ratings here.
