DRIPPING SPRINGS: FOODIE CENTRAL

With the opening of HEB, Dripping has its own foodie central now. Buy local, organic produce and meet the farmers and ranchers who make it all happen and then complete your shopping (Pure Luck goat cheese!) across the road. We have the Onion Creek Farm available produce rundown, below, but there are many vendors at the market. If you haven't come out yet, now is the time to get in the groove! Available certified organic produce on Saturday from Onion Creek Farm will include garlic, okra, squash, shallots, tomatoes (heirlooms, slicers, and more), and herbs including Thai Basil —the Statesman recently posted a recipe for Thai Basil ice cream that sounded particularly refreshing, get it here. Plus farm fresh, free range eggs.

UPDATE: We also just got word the Rocking B Ranch will be at the farmers' market with grass fed beef and goat.
