BABBLE EXCLUSIVE: OLD BARBER SHOP ON MERCER HAS A NEW TENANT

Looks like Mercer Street may be getting a much needed social boost. The old barber shop on Mercer has a new tenant. John McIntosh who has lived and worked in Dripping Springs for 14 years (as a transplant from Wimberley), has leased the space and will be converting it into an icehouse, pending TABC approval. According to John, the icehouse, to be called The Barber Shop, will have darts, dominoes, big screen television, and beer garden-style tables for community socializing. John hopes to open the doors this fall. We'll keep you posted!
