LOCAL FOURTH OF JULY FIREWORKS - RECAP
We've had quite a few emails come in about fireworks in Dripping Springs this year. The answer is there are no big fireworks planned, however, the Church of the Springs (next to the YMCA) will reportedly be having a family style picnic and small fireworks from 6:00-9:00PM on the July 4th.
The big local area show will be in Johnson City. The Spange Dangle, presented by the Johnson City Chamber of Commerce, will be an almost day long affair at the Blanco County fairgrounds starting in the afternoon and winding up at midnight. Live music starts at 7:00PM and the Fourth of July Spange Dangle Ceremonies will take place at approximately 9:15PM followed by the fireworks display choreographed with patriotic music. There will be beer, wine, sodas, and food concessions during the event. Get all the details at johnsoncity-texas.com/spange_dangle_july4 .
Also, the Wimberley Chamber of Commerce promises family fun, food and entertainment at this year's 4th of July Jubilee. This annual community event, held on the Cypress Creek Church grounds, is free to all and will include live music and city fireworks finale. For more information, visit wimberley.org.
