Photographer Howard Williams lives next to a ranch now slated for development and is determined to document cherished Hill Country scenes before they go the way of the bulldozer. In this photo, he captures an old fence with our favorite detail, a plywood door with a window cut out! We can almost see the cow on the other side rolling its eyes while the doorman confirms identification. (Knock knock...Who's there?...Cows go...Cows go who?....No, cows go moo!).

Where is this ranch? It looks like the Hazy Hills ranch where I lived for 22 years.
