DRIP PIC OF THE WEEK

Photographer Terry Brim captured this photo of an adult Red-shouldered Hawk and two of the three hatchlings that are in a nest in a tree in his family's back yard. Terry reports that, with the exception of last spring, the parents have reused this nest for 6 or 7 years, each year adding a bit more to it. The hatchlings are still mostly covered with down but are beginning to get real feathers on their wings.
