SUMMER AT THE LIBRARY
There is something about summer that has always made the library more enticing — a cool respite from the heat and an almost endless supply of "beach" novels (even if the beach is our Dripping back porch). This year, the Dripping Springs Community Library (DSCL) has summer reading activities for everyone – children, teenagers, and adults alike. Read a title and win a raffle ticket to win prizes? You had us at air conditioning and free books, library! Special events also dot the library's calendar for the summer months — from the “Peter Rabbit Tea” to “Green Living on a Budget” to a “Renaissance Fair Celebration”.
Get complete information about all of DSCL's summer activities on the library's website at dscl.org or by calling (512) 858-7825. Programs will run through August 1, 2010. The library is located at 501 Sportsplex Drive and is open six days a week, Monday through Saturday.
