DRIPPING WEEKEND
Tonight the Babble is hosting a Trivia Night at Hemisphere Marketplace. We love trivia, and we're hoping a few of you do, as well! It will be our version of "pub trivia". Bring a team, find one when you arrive, or play solo (because you're smart like that). The doors open at 6:30PM and we plan to be reading the first question by 7:00PM. Print Plus has graciously supplied us with pencils! Hemisphere is located at 28000 RR 12. The cafe has a delicious food menu as well as beer and wine.
Dripping Springs Farmers Market is this Saturday. Buy local from 9:00AM - Noon at the Triangle (RR12 and 290). Onion Creek Farm will have arugula, asparagus (limited), beets with tops, collard greens, lamb's quarters, lettuce, onions, Swiss chard (limited), herbs and farm fresh eggs.
The Annual Studio Tour & Hill Country Arts show is Saturday from 10:00AM - 6:00PM. The event is hosted each year by the Artists of Dripping Springs to raise money for their scholarship program and to allow artists from all over the Hill Country to show and sell their art work. There will be many different kinds of art work available including paintings, sculptures, jewelry, pottery, textile art, and much more. All ages are welcome. It is a self guided tour and numerous artists will be located at each stop with their art available for purchase and viewing, as well as at a central Art Market located at Roger Hanks Parkway. Download the studio tour map here.
This Sunday, May 16, join Eric Stager and Noreen Baker and other Travis Audubon Society members helping to survey the bird-life at Nancy Moore’s property known as “Acacia”, a 157-acre conservation easement property near Dripping Springs on the Pedernales River from 6:30AM to 11:30AM.
