PAWS DOG OF THE WEEK: LEIA (REVISITED)

Leia has been in the PAWS shelter for at least a year. We first saw her on April 28, 2009 when we did a collection of all the dogs in the shelter at that time. We featured her again in February, but she can't seem to catch a break. Maybe this time. Leia was originally rescued from San Marcos Animal Shelter with her brother. If PAWS hadn't taken her in she was to be euthanized (the same fate that almost befell the dogs in our family). Leia is a very sweet girl who likes other animals, loves to swim and get good and dirty. She would be a great dog to take to the park.

Babble founders have a merry menagerie of rescued dogs, including a couple of darlings from PAWS Animal Shelter, a no-kill shelter. Currently located in Kyle, PAWS is building a new, larger shelter in Dripping Springs because, unfortunately, the homeless animal population continues to grow. We want to help spread the word about the special, smart, and loving dogs and cats now available for adoption.
