DRIPPING MONDAY: THE WEEK AHEAD

Early voting in the Hays Trinity Groundwater Conservation District election starts today. More information on the election here .

Today is also the RSVP deadline for Friday evening's Heritage Gala at the Dr. Pound Pioneer Historical Museum. Held on the historic museum grounds under a dramatic tent, the event promises fine wine tasting and food stations by local chefs and restaurants such as Jack Allen’s Kitchen, Verde’s, Rolling in Thyme and Dough, and Silver K.  Tony Harrison and Hot Texas will get the party swinging with sounds from Bob Wills to jazz to Tony Bennett, Bobby Darin, and Sinatra. There will be both silent and live auctions with items such as one week’s stay in a lakeside cottage in Michigan and garden sculpture.  Tours of the historic museum will be given throughout the evening. For more information including a schedule of the evening's festivities and to RSVP, visit drpoundpioneerfarmstead.com .

At 11:00AM on Saturday, the good people of Henly, past and present, will celebrate the 53rd Annual Henly Homecoming. The reunion will be held Henly Church Fellowship Hall. Visit henlyhomecoming.com for more information.
