THANK YOU, MR. GARNETT!
The details of how our keys came to be locked inside the vehicle is of little importance — a Lucy line of thought, no doubt, just before Ricky walked in the door — but, what is important, is how much we want to thank Gary Garnett of Garnett's Five G Garage in downtown Dripping. Mr. Garnett went out of his way to get us back in the car and with no expectation of compensation, just the neighborly thing to do.
Thank you, Mr. Garnett!

I would like to add that Gary Garnett also helped us out after calling him a couple of Saturdays ago(not realizing that he wasn't open!) about a Check Engine light that had been on for quite some time in my girlfriends car. We dropped by to find that he was helping his brother work on a truck and took time to come by and help us reset the light and inform us that the gas cap was loose after fiddling with the car a bit. doh! He refused to let us even give him a tip! My girlfriend was so impressed at his generosity she says that she'll always use him for any car problems she might have. I was in disbelief at how kind he was at helping us out like that. We tried sending him a thank you letter but could not due to the post office saying that he didnt have a mailbox up. I hope this reaches him and lets the people of Dripping Springs know how car and customer friendly of a place Garnett's Five G Garage really is. He can call in a favor anytime!

This garage gets 4 stars from me. I couldnt belive it- I called on Sat. when they were closed, they told me I could come in anyway. The guy knew what the problem was with my car before he even looked at it- the check engine light had come one because I hadnt put the gas cap on tight enough. He fixed my problem and charged no cost.( all w/o making me look silly )
