PAWS DOG OF THE WEEK: JACKSON

We had the good fortune to spend Founders Day at the PAWS booth with handsome Jackson. This 5 year old Chihuahua mix (we're guessing about 8 pounds) was so sweet and had the patience of a saint with all the little kids who wanted to pet him. He was content in our arms (we gave him the little sweater when he got a little chilly), got along great in a cage with another little dog who was ultimately adopted, and he was good on a leash. A cold-hearted person threw him away, but he has lots of warmth and love to give.

Babble founders have a merry menagerie of rescued dogs, including a couple of darlings from PAWS Animal Shelter, a no-kill shelter. Because the homeless animal population continues to grow, we want to help spread the word about the special, smart, and loving dogs and cats now available for adoption.
