Have a box full of old cell phones? A dead computer monitor tucked in the back of the closet? A laptop graveyard in the garage? Get ready to load it up and head to San Marcos on Saturday.

The RecycleNow Electronic Waste Collection Event will be held on Saturday, April 17, from 9:00AM to 2:00PM at the Bobcat Stadium Parking Lot of the the Texas State University campus. During the event, a variety of electronics will be accepted forproper recycling at no charge to Hays Countyresidents. Accepted items are computers, cell phones, printers, scanners, TVs,gaming consoles, VCRs, DVD players, and a variety of other electronicdevices. Unacceptable items are appliances, microwaves, batteries andused lamps. 

50% of the proceeds will go to TSU and 50% to the World Bicycle Relief Organization.
