This year's Founders Day Festival kicks off its final day today at 11:00AM. The festival schedule is available for download here.  Along with the live music, the weather was pitch-perfect on Friday and Saturday when we captured these few scenes. We will have more later including our favorite festival "find". See you wandering Mercer!


The carnival always provides a colorful backdrop for the festival.


The positively outstanding (and state champs) Dripping Springs High School Band. Made us feel Dripping proud.


Local power-pop trio Edison Chair rocked the stage. These guys have just been signed by a major label and proved why yesterday. Thanks for rocking Dripping!


PAWS puppies Buddy and Tramp available for adoption took a quick puppy nap yesterday. We worked the PAWS booth and thank everyone who stopped by to donate and adopt. What a thrill it was to see Jordan, Molly, Larry, and Louie trot away with their new families. The PAWS booth is on the street next to the old post office parking lot.
