DRIPPING SPRINGS FARMERS MARKET A SUNNY SUCCESS

By all reports, the first official Dripping Springs Farmers Market was a well-deserved success. Onion Creek Farm sold out of 45 bunches of asparagus shortly after the market opened, food vendors Thyme & Dough and Crucita's both had to return to their respective mother ship's for more food, and we arrived at Bella Verdi just in time to pick up our favorite Bibb lettuce. Live music from the jig-inspiring Deer Creek Fiddlers struck up about 10:30AM to kick up the already festive atmosphere. It was so good to see all vendors new and old. We left with our pockets empty and bags full. Next market is April 17. See you there!
