DRIPPING THURSDAY
For those of you concerned for the future of Dripping Springs, tonight is your chance to participate in shaping it. The City is holding a Land Use Workshop at DS United Methodist Church (28900 RR 12) at 6:00PM. Citizens are encouraged to participate in the workshop which will address a number of issues from recommending areas for high density housing and industrial or commercial land use, to ensuring all aspects of preservation and maintenance of the natural or historical environment. Chocolatier, and author of Eat Chocolate, Lose Weight, Anne Isham is speaking at the Dripping Springs Community Library (501 Sportsplex).The hour-long program begins promptly at 5:30PM. Amid samples of varied brands of chocolate, world trotting chocolate expert Isham reveals new insight into a food used every day. For this special event, the Friends of the Dripping Springs Community Library have made it possible to purchase copies of Isham's book with proceeds benefiting the library.
