DRIP SPOT: JOHNNY GIMBLE

The Statesman has a great profile on Johnny Gimble, who has lived in Dripping Springs for the past 25 years. Many of us have had a chance to hear live and in person the "greatest living country fiddler, maybe the greatest ever" right here in Dripping. For those who haven't, Mr. Gimble has a new album coming out Tuesday featuring vocals from such famous friends and admirers as Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson and Vince Gill.
