DRIPPING HELPS HAITI

We just received this from Dyan Twining here in Dripping:

"My husband Montie Twining left this morning to fly to Port au Prince, Haiti. He chartered an airplane from Florida and he and his cousin filled it with medical supplies that they've delivered to a school in Port au Prince. They filled a five-seater airplane with supplies and it was unloaded and distributed within 5 minutes. He said the situation is desperate.

"I spoke with the woman who is working to coordinate efforts for this group that is here stateside. She said they are in desperate need of medical supplies, medical workers and people with private airplanes. I would love to get the word out to our community about this great need. I feel comfortable (with my husband being on the ground there) that the supplies will make it to Haiti and will get put into the hands of people who can distribute them to the neediest people there. He would also be willing to talk with medical workers that might be willing to go to Haiti to help as to stability of the area and to answer any questions that they might have about traveling there.

"I quickly threw together a website at angelsincowboyboots.com as I've had many people ask how they can help. I've already got a lawyer working on non-profit/501c3 status for the organization as a way to help, but wanted to send out a plea for the medical supplies, medical workers, or people with airplanes who might be able to help.

"Thank you for any help in getting the word out."
