In past few years, Karen Ford has attended the Hays County Youth Livestock show and did what she could to support Dripping Springs youth, particularly the girls, who raised animals for 4-H and FFA. She was disheartened to observe Dripping kids and their animals not get the level of auction bids others in the county received. So, this year she decided to put together a buyers group to see if, together, we could make a bigger difference at the upcoming Livestock Auction on January 30. All deposits received between now and January 29 will be used toward purchase or “add-ons” for Dripping Springs Youth and their animals.No deposit can be too small or too large. This is not a campaign contribution —so corporate deposits are acceptable.

Karen will be at the Livestock Show and Auction on Saturday, January 30, at the Hays County Civic Center in San Marcos and invites friends to come out and join the biddin’ and buyin’.
