DRIP PIC OF THE WEEK


This cold morning, Howard Williams took a photo of a pair of ladder backed woodpeckers enjoying a suet cake. According to our esteemed Dripping birder, suet cakes provide a good source of fat that birds convert to energy to help them keep warm (especially lately). He attached the suet cage to a piece of wood as woodpeckers like to use their tails as leverage as they feed. Do you have a Drip Pic? Send to driptips@gmail.com.
