I just wanted to give my sincere and heartfelt congratulations to Gunnery Sgt. Mosser on his being awarded the Navy Cross for his incredibly heroic actions in Afghanistan in 2008. The general public should be aware that this is an award second only to the medal of honor that is given for combat heroism and is often given posthumously. The fact that GSgt Mosser is still with us speaks to his grit, determination, and selflessness in battle. His family should be commended for raising such a fine man and they should be forever proud of his actions. The community of Dripping Springs should hold this man high as an example to their youth of the true meaning of Patriotism and heroism at its best.

Semper Fidelis GSgt Mosser and thank you for your service.
