AMBERLYN UPDATE

A week ago we announced the Randy Rogers Band benefit at Nutty Brown for our friend Carolyn's granddaughter, Amberlyn Fett. Amberlyn has Cystic Fibrosis and last Tuesday she was at Dell Children's Hospital (a place where she has done so much inspiring charity work) awaiting news on a double lung transplant. On Sunday night, the call came. Another family's loss and selfless gift would give Amberlyn a second chance to live. Amberlyn was helicoptered to San Antonio and at 1:30AM Monday morning she had a new right lung and by 2:30AM she had a new left lung. There is still a long and expensive road ahead but, today, prayers have been answered and the benefit for this Dripping family on November 6 will be an even more meaningful. Hope to see you there!
