NUTTY BROWN AND TABC COMPLAINT UPDATE
As many of you know, two neighbors who live near Nutty Brown Cafe filed a "loud noise" complaint with the TABC against the venue back in June. As we all know, Nutty Brown plays hosts to lots of Dripping charity events (like the one we announced earlier today), and lots of local folks are making every effort to support the venue. Hays County Sheriff Deputies have responded dozens of times to noise complaints but not found the venue in violation of the noise ordinance. Nevertheless, while the TBC investigates it is withholding a new permanent liquor license and Nutty Brown is operating on a temporary permit. The license will not be renewed until the TABC investigation is complete.

My husband and I live in Heritage Oaks and we love Nutty Brown! Yes, we can hear the music from our house and we enjoy sitting out on the back porch with a cold one listening to likes of Pat Green. We’ve also enjoyed going to Nutty Brown to listen to all of our favorite Groups. Before long we’ll have our Chili’s and Wal-Mart. I would much rather have a business like Nutty Brown that brings something unique to our area and helps with so many benefits.
