DRIP PIC OF THE WEEK

Terry Brim of Dripping Springs took an absolutely gorgeous series of photographs of two anoles. This one was in a mountain laurel bush in front of Terry's house. You can see the entire series by clicking here. Anoles are often mistaken for chameleons thanks to their ability to change color. This Babbler has seen one emerge from beneath a purple plant an exact color to match. They are friendly, interesting little creatures that eat bugs and they are most certainly always welcome around this house.
