DRIPPING KARAOKE
This Babbler for years refused to karoake. But one night in Barcelona,
Spain, in a karaoke club called Paris (yes, it's true), Babbler was coaxed to
the microphone to sing (term used loosely) a Prince song, and there has been no
looking back. The next year, in Paris, France, at a sports bar/karaoke club (we
do not follow the typical tourist paths), Babbler's dear friend and proud American, Micah, took the microphone and stepped in front of a rowdy French
soccer fan crowd that had booed and hissed every previous performer and
had them clapping and cheering (true story). How does any of this apply to
Dripping Springs? Apparently Dripping's own Stadium has karaoke from 9:00PM to Midnight on Friday nights (30-45 minutes late start on DS Tigers away game
nights). As it turns out, you do not have to travel across an ocean or even
across "the Y" to karaoke. See Stadium's event calendar for more details.
