DRIPPING THURSDAY

Hays Trinity Groundwater Conservation District will hold its Board Meeting in Dripping Springs on Thursday at City Hall at 5:00PM. On the Board Meeting agenda,which is open to the public, are Non Exempt Well Owner Permit Hearings and Notice of Violation Reviews that will be considered for discussion and/or action. Earlier this week, Hays County Commissioner Karen Ford announced her bid for re-election.
Commissioner Ford kicks off her re-election campaign with a free event for her supporters on Thursday from 5:30PM to 7:30PM at the new Hemisphere Marketplace and Café in Dripping (the old True Value location on RR12).

Rolling in Thyme & Dough is serving up a nice howdyado to the cooler weather from 6:00PM - 9:00PM with Tri-Tip Roast with Double Baked Potato and Veggie Pot Pie, plus much more. Get the complete menu here.

Thirsty Thursday turns 2 years old this month, and all are invited to celebrate another delightful evening of poetry, guitar music, stories and songs on Thursday at 7:00PM at New Life Lutheran Church (120 Frog Pond Lane, off Highway 290). Thursday's featured guest poet is Elizabeth Kropf from Cedar Park, Texas. Austin songwriter Steve Brooks, whose new CD Chasing Grace is due out on October 1, is also slated to appear.
