DRIP PIC OF THE WEEK

While the weather may still be warm, the emergence of bucks and their velvet antlers signals an upcoming change in  seasons. The velvet is actually lightly haired skin and tissue filled with blood and nutrients for the growing bone. When the antlers are finished growing, the velvet tissue dies and the buck rubs his antlers against trees or the ground to remove it.
